Cyber Young Minds

Promoting STEMD education by empowering young girls and unemployed youth through coding and robotics training!

About US

  • Cyber young minds is non-profit organization which focuses on bridging the digital divide by providing young girls, women and youth a platform to learn about technology and how it can help them thrive in their STEMD career and give the disadvantaged communities access to digital technology. The cyber young minds focuses on STEMD (science, technology, engineering, mathematics and design) educational programs.
  • It is easy to use technology as a tool to bring people and organizations together. Even easier to access meaningful opportunities for those who have favourable access. It is also disheartening to know that digital technologies inequality between disadvantaged and affluent areas has dwindled the level of social services available to marginalized masses.
  • The gap has become wider and faster, which leads to ever greater inequalities. With the COVID 19 pandemic, many people in the disadvantaged communities were left jobless and could not make use of technology to look for jobs due to no access, but instead those who have access benefited more and managed to work from home with more than one job.

Our Vision

To bridge the digital gap through programs that empower the African young girls, women, people living with disabilities and youth (incl boys).

To empower and train as many of them as we can through coding bootcamps and virtual platforms.

To be the light to those who do not have access to internet.
